Volunteer Opportunity

Posted on

We are beginning the search for event-day volunteers to support Daytrippers annual fundraising gala, Battle of the Brains, scheduled to take place on May 22nd at Arcadian Court from 4:30-10:30pm. Tri Delta alumna Chantel Parise is the organizer of this exciting event to raise funds to help schools and students pay for experiences that they may not be able to afford on their own.

About the Volunteer Experience – Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with the professional network in the room, including industries such as Financial Services, Law, Consulting and more.  Volunteers will be treated to a complimentary meal, along with the opportunity to enjoy cocktail hour with passed appetizers from a top Toronto caterer. Lastly, it’s an opportunity to dress up and meaningfully contribute to our purpose and mission.

About Daytrippers – Daytrippers Children’s Charity aims to champion experiences for Canadian children that build confidence, curiosity and bright futures. Our mission is to fund experiential learning opportunities for in-need children across Canada. Last year, we provided $806,000 of funds to kids across Canada – a record year for us! That is 862 trips, impacting 62,000 children!

Seeking Event-Day Volunteers – If you’re available on May 22nd and interested in volunteering with us, please fill out the Google Form. The form has a list of all the volunteer roles and a short description to better understand the expectations of each role. We would appreciate it if you shared this invitation with friends or people in your network who would be interested in volunteering.

Please feel free to reach out to us directly at recruitment@daytrippers.ca with any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you once again, and we hope to see you at the 2025 Battle of the Brains!
