Dearest Deltas,

It is with great pride and joy that I share the Tri Delta Toronto Alum Chapter Team’s Terry Fox Run results with you.  In our inaugural year, we raised over $900 for cancer research!  Amazing!  Thanks to EVERYONE who supported us!  In addition to your generous monetary donations, there were encouraging messages left on our page at terryfox.org and treat bags from the collegians for the Mooredale participants.

Both the weather and the company were perfect on Sunday, September 14th, as the Tri Delta Toronto Alum Chapter Team completed the Run in two locations.  Alexandra Celebre, Angela Celebre, Alexandra Misiak and Ksenija Stupar participated at High Park.  Featured in the photo of the Mooredale team members are Emily Yu Feng, Selen Umul, Erica Brown, Krystal Mercer, Julia Di Poce, Carly Klassen and Michelle Mercer.  Paul Sorensen, Selen’s fiancé and our token male, took the picture.  While we all have our personal reasons for registering for the Terry Fox Run, we signed the dedication board in memory of Wendy Tuck, a loyal Canada Alpha alumna who passed away in 2006.

Thanks again to all who were involved with the Tri Delta Toronto Alum Chapter Team’s success.  I hope the Terry Fox Run becomes an annual tradition for our chapter.
