At this year’s Founders’ Day, the Alumnae Chapter had the privilege of once again presenting two awards to recognize outstanding achievements of two collegiate members.
The first award presented was the Eileen Blaine Rudolph Scholarship Award, recognizing a current fourth year collegiate member with the highest grade point average at the end of her third year. The 2025 recipient is Adele Church (bottom photo), a very outstanding woman who is currently majoring in Human Biology and Immunology, and the Collegiate Director of Finance, Director of Risk Management, and Director of Academic Excellence. Adele is also an Academic All-Canadian (i.e., a student athlete with a GPA above a 3.5) and is a member of the U of T Varsity Rugby and Track and Field teams. On top of all this, Adele is also currently doing a research project on type 1 diabetes and NO2 in U of T’s Philpott Lab.
The second award was the New Member Scholarship Award, recognizing a current second year collegiate member with the highest grade point average at the end of the first semester she was a member. This year’s recipient is Isabelle Suski (top photos) who is currently pursuing a HBSc in Life Sciences. Isabelle, also known as Izzy, is the collegiate Director of Administration and also the Outreach Director for the Human Biology Students’ Union. Izzy is also a former competitive dancer and a current instructor at The Performing Arts Connection. Izzy has many other interests and achievements, including volunteering at Boston Children’s Hospital and is the recipient of the Atkinson Scholarship (2024) and the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship (2024).
Thank you,
