First Collegiate Chapter in Canada
Canada Alpha was founded in 1930 at the University of Toronto, making Tri Delta officially international. Canada Alpha wholeheartedly embraced the purpose of Delta Delta Delta: to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members; develop a stronger and more womanly character; broaden the moral and intellectual life; and assist its members in every possible way.
Women are members of the collegiate chapter while studying at the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, they may join any Tri Delta alumnae chapter where they live.
