Rhiannon Kyle, a Canada Alpha collegian, is starring in Legally Blonde – The Musical at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.  The show runs July 10-13 and starts at 7:30 p.m., except on Sunday, which is a matinee performance beginning at 2 o’clock.  Tickets are $22.00 – $30.00.  To find out more about the show, and to purchase tickets, click HERE.

Please consider coming out to this family-friendly event.  Break a leg, Rhiannon!

Tri Delts to Get Fox-y in September!

Dear Deltas,

Our team, Tri Delta Toronto Alum Chapter, is participating in The Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 14, 2014. This event reinforces our commitment to Children’s Cancer Charities, and is inclusive in nature, e.g. no entry fee, no minimum donation, different distance options for participants.

You can view our team page by clicking on the link below:

I would like to invite you, your family and your friends to join us!  From our team page, click on the ‘Join Team’ button to sign-up and help us fundraise. You are welcome to choose the Run site that is most convenient for you, but if you wish to walk 5K with our group, please select the Toronto-Mooredale location. We chose Mooredale because it’s easily accessible by car and by TTC (Rosedale Station). We’re aiming for a 10 a.m. start time. If you can’t join us, you can also support our team by making a donation online using the link above.

The Terry Fox Run isn’t until mid-September, but I hope you’ll start the trek by marking your calendar, digging out your old DDD sweatshirt and fundraising over the summer.

Thanks for your support!

Attention Delta Shoppers!

Have your eye on a Tri Delta t-shirt or maybe a pansy ring?  Good news!  Betty-Faye LeRiche is driving to Convention, and she has offered to bring back a few Delta Shop items for our chapter.  This offer is open to all dues-paying members.

Here’s what you do.  Place your order online at tridelta.org/shop and indicate that Betty-Faye will be picking up on your behalf at Convention.  Then, let Betty-Faye know what you’ve ordered, so she can keep track.  (Her coordinates are in our directory or you can get in touch with me via the “Contact” tab on this website, and I’ll send you her info.)  The room in Betty-Faye’s vehicle is limited, though, so please keep that in mind when placing your order.

If this offer is popular, and Betty-Faye goes over her personal exemption limit as a result, you might be responsible for the taxes at the border.  However, thirteen percent is still better than the shipping and handling, and/or brokerage fees you would normally pay.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  And thanks to Betty-Faye for generously offering to be our delivery woman!
