Career’s Night

Next Monday March 24st, 2014 at 7:00pm, the alumnae and collegiate chapter will be hosting a career’s information night. We would love to have alumnae guest speakers discuss their different career paths and provide their knowledge to the collegians on their designated field of work.  A question and answer period will follow. If any alumnae are interested in participating in this event please contact:

Krystal Mercer – krystal.mercer@hotmail.com

It would be great to have a variety of careers, to provide the collegians with the information and knowledge to bring to their own careers.

Hope to see you there!!

Convention 2014: Driven to Excellence

Dearest Deltas,

The details of this summer’s Convention have been released.  Our sisterhood will be gathering in Indianapolis, Indiana from July 2-5, 2014.  Click HERE to find out more.

You are invited to attend all or part of the Convention.  It would be wonderful to have a strong Toronto presence at the event.  Indianapolis is about an 8 hour drive from TO, so this opens up the possibility of saving the cost of airfare by carpooling and splitting the gas money.  How appropriate to drive to the Home of the Indy 500!

If you are interested in joining the Toronto contingent, please post the dates you are available below, as well as whether you are a driver (vehicle) or passenger, and we’ll see if we can coordinate a convoy.

Delta Love,

Carly

P.S. To give you an idea of cost, a double room is $90 US per person per night and the most economical Convention package is $185 US.  So, if you and a friend drove down on Wednesday, participated in Convention on Thursday, spent Friday enjoying 4th of July in the U.S., and drove back on Saturday, the Convention costs would be $455 US.  You would still need to factor in the gas money/travel expenses and the cost of meals and entertainment on July 4th.
