The collegiate chapter of Delta Delta Delta at the University of Toronto is hosting their Fall Philanthropy on Monday October 3rd at 9pm! Join the ladies of DDD for DHOP: Delta’s House of Pancakes! Your $5 admission opens the door to all you can eat pancakes, and supports Tridelta’s local philanthropy at Sick Kids Hospital and our international philanthropy partner St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
In the past two year, TriDelta has raised over $15 million dollars towards our goal of 60 million in 10 years! Come out to help our girls continue to surpass fundraising expectations and make positive change for our philanthropy partners!
If you want to support the chapter but are unable to make it out to the event, an online donation page has been set up at http://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR?fr_id=56291&pg=entry The chapter is also accepting inkind donations, food, gifts cards (for grocery stores), and items to fill out their silent auction. Circle Ceremonies and Grad Tea 2016

Please join us for our annual Circle Ceremonies and new grad celebration! This year, we will host our own catered high tea in the party room at Venessa’s condo. Space is limited so please RSVP by providing payment on the appropriate Paypal widget (located to the right of this post) in a timely manner. Please note that this event is open to members in good standing as well as the members we will be honouring including new grads, silver, golden and 5 year alumnae. Please find details below;

Location: Party Room at 18 Harrison Garden Blvd (Yonge & Sheppard)

Parking: Visitor parking is available on the street or underground visitor parking is available at the building. If you plan to park underground, the lot is on the Left hand side of the building. Please contact Venessa (ven.lebreche@gmail.com) ahead of time with your car details (Make/Model/Colour/Year/Plate number) so she can have a parking pass issued for you.

TTC: Sheppard station use the South exit and walk South on Yonge. Turn Left at Avondale (You will see Starbucks at the corner). Turn Right at Harrison Garden Blvd. Turn right after you pass the Rabba. (The building is directly next to Carrie’s for those of you who have been there for previous events)

Pricing: Free for new grads and $15 for all other attendees

AGM & Carnival Themed Party

The Annual General Meeting and Carnival themed cocktail party, is approaching. Please remember to RSVP and please advise whether you can bring a dessert, appetizer or bottle of wine.

Dues-paying members of the Toronto Alumnae Chapter will be voting on the 2016-2018 Alumnae Chapter Executive Committee slate however all alumnae are welcome as the rest of the evening will be dedicated to mingling and merriment.

Free street parking is available on Roehampton Ave. and Rawlinson Ave., the intersection where the building is located.

Visitor parking is also available at the building. Please check in at reception before parking.

Don’t forget to bring your beads, masks and any festive wear to the party!

Donations of gift cards, toiletries and lightly used toys and clothing for women and children will be collected for Juliette’s Place, homeward family shelter and we will be collecting for Adopt-A-New Member fund.

Founders’ Day Silent Auction to benefit POGO

Founders’ Day is just around the corner and there are a number of exciting items to bid on at this year’s silent auction to benefit the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.

Please remember to bring your cheque books or some extra cash for this wonderful opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping or just to treat yourself…all while supporting an amazing cause!

Big ticket items include a pair of Maple Leafs tickets for December 8th vs. the New Jersey Devils, a sound system, and many packages and baskets for everything from pampering your puppies to your feet!

TTC: The Intercontinental Toronto Yorkville Hotel is located on the North side of Bloor Street between St. George and Bay Stations. Either exit at St. George Station and walk East or exit at Bay Station and walk West.

Meet and Greet and Eat – A note from the Collegiate Chapter

The collegiate ladies of Delta Delta Delta warmly extend an invite to our alumnae chapter, for this years fall philanthropic event, “Camp Tri Delta”. Starting promptly at 7pm will be our new member meet and greet. This 2015 pledge class is more than excited to meet you all, and the rest of the collegians are more than happy to reconnect with you again!

In addition to our traditional $5 all you can eat spaghetti night we are doing a silent auction, outdoor photo station ($2 to print and take home a photo), and with the purchase of a pre-sale ticket you gain free entry into a raffle.

This year our Philanthropy Chairman, Allison Browning, has set up an opportunity for online ticket sales and donations through St. Jude. Founders’ Day Dinner and Awards Celebration

Dearest Deltas, you are cordially invited to our annual Founders’ Day celebration that will be held on Wednesday, November 25th 2015. This year’s dinner and awards ceremony will celebrate Canada Alpha’s 85th anniversary and will be held at Signatures restaurant at the Intercontinental Toronto Yorkville hotel located at 220 Bloor Street West. Please join us in the Willard Room for cocktail hour commencing at 6:00pm followed by dinner and awards at 7:00pm.
