The Canada Alpha Chapter of Tri Psi volunteered to host our annual Convention in Nashville. We did this as nobody else had come forward to host the 2012 Convention, and we’re well-seasoned in hosting conventions. We chose Nashville because many of our members do not have passports.
In the past we were so grateful for the the support we received from the Toronto Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta. Once again we approach you. We would love it if some of you would join us in Nashville as we have an exciting program for guests, Tri Deltas, and Tri Psis, including an evening at the Grand Ole Opry. We are holding two hotel rooms at the Convention site, available to any who wish to join us. Also any monetary gift to help offset the cost of hosting the Convention would be very much appreciated.
Please check out our website at http://tripsisorority.com for further information. Just click on 2012 Convention to find further information on Convention Registration, Hotel Registration, and Convention Program.
Tri Psi love,
I hope that you’ll join us at the chapter house on Thursday, October 4th to meet our new collegiate and alumnae members. For details and to RSVP, please click on the “Meet and Greet” link under “What’s Happening” in the top right corner of this website. Your response is greatly appreciated, so that we can plan for refreshments.
We will also be collecting alumnae chapter dues that evening. Save $10 on your local dues if they are paid by the October 15th deadline. More information can be found in your Fall 2012 newsletter.
In the bonds,
President, Toronto Alumnae Chapter
Are you interested in giving back to Tri Delta? Why not become an advisor, you will help guide the collegiate chapter to even greater success. Krystal and Selen have served as Alumna Advisor (AA) for the past two years and have done a wonderful job of helping the chapter to achieve their goals. Now is your chance to become more involved. I served as AA when Krystal and Selen were in chapter and I can tell you that it is a tough job but a rewarding one, you’ll learn more about yourself, the chapter and Delta Delta Delta.
We are looking to fill two advisor roles, Alumna Advisor and Finance and Administration Advisor (FAA). Our new advisors will join Carmelina our current Lifetime Member Advisor (LMA) in supporting our amazing collegiate members in Canada Alpha. Below is a brief description of the roles. If you are interested in learning more please contact myself Carrie (email@example.com) or Selen (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The Alumna Advisor is the chairman of the Advisory Team and supervises the collegiate chapter to ensure overall well-being and success. She provides guidance and support to designated officers and focuses on the chapter’s leadership development and overall image. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of chapter mechanics and Fraternity programs. She participates in the recruitment and training of new advisors and ensures the chapter is a contributing member of the university community. The AA attends all regular meetings, standards and OTC.
The Finance and Administration Advisor provides guidance and support to the officers under the finance and administration teams, and is knowledgeable in the Accreditation process, chapter member record maintenance, Tri Delta property administration and chapter financial mechanics.
New Member Meet and Greet
Oct. 4, 2012 at 7 p.m.
On Thursday October 4, 2012 the alumnae executive invites you to a “Meet and Greet” night at the chapter house. Come out and meet the new members following recruitment! The event starts at 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be provided, along with games and activities to meet the collegiates.
If you would like to contribute to the event please bring a small wrapped item (i.e. a $5 gift card, school supplies, a Tri Delta item etc.) to be used in an activity to welcome the new members. Please RSVP on the website or send an email to email@example.com.
Hope to see you there!
As members of the collegiate advisory team we wanted to ‘Thanks’ to all those alumnae who have already showed their support for this year’s 2012 Recruitment efforts. Because of your contributions the collegians have already collected the items on their donation wish list well ahead of recruitment.
For those alumnae who wanted to donate to recruitment there are still other donation opportunities. Please consider making a donation to the Adopt-a-new-member fund to help a new member offset the initial costs of becoming a member in our beloved organization. As an alternative the collegiate chapter will still accept donations in general.

In March 2012, The Center for Living, Learning & Leading launched Evergreen – A Delta Delta Delta Journey in Leadership. For one week, 10 Tri Delta collegiate members were given the opportunity to explore the landscape of Costa Rica while also engaging in their own self-exploration and leadership development.
Through daily workshops, participants receive instruction in leadership practices, principles and discovering solutions to leadership challenges – all while getting to know the people, culture and landscape of Costa Rica. Most importantly, this experience allows members to build a valuable network of Tri Delta leaders and immerse themselves in the Purpose of our organization. This year, we will be offering the Evergreen program twice, allowing us to provide more members with this life-changing opportunity. Participants can choose between two sessions: March 3-10 or March 10-17, 2013.
Do you know a collegiate chapter member who would be interested? Perhaps you would like to sponsor a participant or give a donation to The Center to support Evergreen. To sponsor or find out more information about sponsoring Evergreen, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. A video providing an additional in-depth look at all this program has to offer can be found online at www.youtube.com/TriDeltaEO.
More information about Evergreen and how collegiate members can apply can be found at www.trideltaevergreen.com. Thank you for your commitment to Tri Delta and for your consideration in this once in a lifetime experience for our collegiate members.
